Welcome to my Website
This web site provides current information on weather data for ELGIN, Moray, Scotland; as well as some recent weather data records. Use the buttons/links above to get access to all this data and my webcam/cloudcam video. The weather data is obtained from a Davis Instruments Vantage Pro 2 Automatic Weather Station (AWS) located in the west of Elgin.
A Local Weather Forecast for Elgin is being produced using a combination of my own Actual Wx Data, METAR, SYNOP and GFS Model Data by the programme "WxSim". The Wx Fcsts are uploaded automatically at 0800, 1400 and 2000 daily. Please note that the forecasts are produced from the best available data and that occasionally there are data errors which may cause poor fcsts. The Graphical Data Image below the Icons and Text forecast gives further additional information for the weather expected over the next 5 day period.
